Lone Star Corporation, a privately owned company, is a multifaceted operation that includes: Instrumentation & Electric, Automation & Controls, Powerline & Distribution as well as Engineering & Design. As one of the fastest growing electrical contractors in the industry, we now offer a wide variety of construction services to complement our existing line of services that include: Oilfield Construction, Facility and Site Construction, Fabrication, Concrete, and Maintenance Services.

Currently, we are searching for a Vice President of Construction to oversee our Construction Services Division. The ideal candidate will oversee the day to day operations of multiple projects sites. The vice president of construction management operations serves in a hands-on role in nearly every aspect of construction management; not only are they responsible for hiring and supervising the project management team, but they are also in charge of creating and managing budgets. The vice president of construction management operations would write up contracts, put together designs, and work directly with clients to ensure projects meet their expectations.   

Daily Activities

  • Hire, manage, and evaluate superintendent staff and construction crews
  • Create and maintain a safe and secure worksite
  • Ensure that procurement of materials, supplies and equipment meets project needs
  • Direct, measure, and report progress towards project goals
  • Create and manage a budget for each project
  • Oversee contracts and design plans
  • Drive growth focused on financial performance and customer satisfaction
  • Arrange and attend all business meeting with Lone Star Execs and clients
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Prepares work orders summarizing work performed, materials uses, cost and charges
  • Any other duties as assigned


Position Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in similar role.
  • At least 7 years' experience
  • Open Availability and must be willing to travel
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
  • Proficiency in English however ability to speak fluent Spanish is preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license



Compensation will be a yearly salary plus production bonus. Salary depends on experience.
