I & E Manager

Growing Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) construction and control systems integrator based in the Permian Basin region, is expanding its operations into the Eagle Ford Region. We are seeking a motivated and qualified I/E Manager for a full-time position. Lone Star is a growing provider of superior I&E design & construction for the oil and gas industry. Our key targets include projects in the Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas market sectors Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and leads, manage projects and acquire new business.
  • Manage Electrical and Automation personnel.
  • Forecast, track, and manage project budgets to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from different functional areas to achieve common goals.



  • Intimate knowledge of Industrial electrical and/or I&E contracting, is required
  • Intimate knowledge of standard industry (Oil & Gas) construction & installation practices, is required
  • Intimate knowledge of NEC code, NFPA 70 and similar codes, is required
  • Proficient knowledge of standard construction project workflow, documentation and scheduling, is required
  • Proficient knowledge of standard business accounting procedures, change order development and budget tracking, is required
  • Intimate knowledge of automation, control, and measurement equipment, is required.
  • Must be goal oriented, have personal integrity and superior work ethic
  • Strong relationships established with decision makers required
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be very proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, email, etc...
  • Must be highly organized with good time management skills.
  • Must interface with existing clients, potential customers, vendors and subcontractors in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
  • Experience with accounting software platforms strongly preferred.



Position Requirements

  • 10+ years relevant industrial electrical / I&E experience
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant 2 year technical degree, highly preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license



Compensation will be a yearly salary plus production bonus. Salary depends on experience.
